A date to be put in the calendar – on 14th and 20th September 2014 at least 18 low energy homes will open its doors to the public as part of Open Eco Homes event, an annual initiative organised by Cambridge Carbon Footprint aiming to inspire and inform visitors how to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. The householders will demonstrate and explain a wide range of energy saving features of their homes from underfloor heating , all kinds of insulation solution, solar panels to green roofs and rain water solutions for gardens.
